Things I Learned While Writing My Dissertation

This article is a work-in-progress.

I've recently finished writing my dissertation for my bachelor's degree, and the process taught me a few things, both about myself and about the wider world. I thought it might be nice to share them here.

1. I hate writing in academic style.

No first-person. Everything must be stated objectively. Fuck that shit.

2. MS Word fails. A lot.

Seriously. I'm not even sure how it's possible to be this incompetent at being a word processor. Here's a paraphrased example of how things went:

3. I'm a much more verbal and visual person than textual
